We had two french bulldogs here for Thanksgiving. And some people really, really wish they were still here.

The right dog in the right family can be bliss.
Top of Callie's christmas list is a Husky or German Shepherd puppy. I told her Santa wouldn't bring her a dog since Santa already brought her a cat a few years ago. She had a twinkle in her eye with all the Christmas glee you could imagine and said, "Santa knows what I want, so you just never know, MOM!!!" Wow wee are we in trouble.
jay wants one, too. i'm holding out for a dalmatian.
OK take a breath. First of all pick a family friendly dog. Choose one that is easily trained and easily groomed. Make sure the dog is a female. lol If you want an "indoor" dog make sure her top weight is less than 35lbs. Dont ever buy a Cocker Spaniel. (JMO) A Brittany is a far nicer dog. Prepare yourself for some bad days and alot of good days.

Do it!! When little man turned a year old, I convinced hubs that every little boy needed a dog to grow up with. Two years later, she is a loyal friend to everyone. Hubs is her fave person! She and little man are SO cute together!
Sydney's good friend has a old french bull dog! Ohh..they are sooo cute!! Syd wants a dog too! It dosen't help when my entire family (including my mom) got a dog last year, except us! We had added a baby. :)
