Grateful Sunday

This Sunday, I'm grateful for:
  • my sweet Parker and the fact that he's four! I can't believe I have kids who are six and four, but we're so proud of who they're turning out to be.
  • Miles, too. He's turning out to be quite chubby and happy so far.
  • a visit from my parents this past week. We had so much fun, I'll have to post some pictures so you can see.
  • Parker Day, which we celebrated this week. Parker Day is the anniversary of the day my parents decided to go steady. Click that link. My parents are so cute.
  • my house, my family, our neighborhood, and the area in which we live. Neal and I agreed last night that, even though we'll be starting a job search very soon and we'll most likely be leaving here, we've really loved living here and will miss it so very much.
Some goals for the week:
  1. Actually make a meal for dinner. I've been spoiled with my parents in town. We like restaurants.
  2. Chill out a bit.
  3. Start lifting some of our little free weights. The pools open in 2 weeks and my arms need some toning. Speaking of the pools opening in 2 weeks, does anyone want to come swimming?
  4. Look! No housework goals! I figure if I don't talk about housework, maybe it will just leave me alone.

I have to tell you something funny... We were just in Sugar Land, visiting my family, and we went to church with my brother Greg and I saw a little girl in the hall and couldn't figure out why she looked so familiar... Then I realized, I had seen her on Flowerchain! It was cute little Audrey. (And now you are probably freaked out...sorry.) Anyway, love your blog. And I love Parker Day- such a great idea.

We'd totally love to come swim, maybe after Hannah gets out of school may 18th? (so to find a swimsuit that will do me good for the season, since a few little free weights just aren't going to cut it this season!)

you can see it's only 9:04pm, but I seem to be repeating words a lot this season because I'm tired (o: hows that for repetition?!
