"Mama, do birdies have bottom cracks?"
Seriously, where DOES he come up with these things?
On a much more somber note, our little fishie Cleo died today. We bought her Tuesday for Neal's awesome little ocean tank, but she had acquired some sort of fungus (eeewww, I hate that word) during her stay at the pet shop, and met her sad end here at our house this afternoon. Audrey wanted to have a funeral, and on the way to retrieve her from the tank, asked (a little too excitedly for just having been SO sad), "Daddy, can I carry her outside in my bare hands?"
Oh, the tragedy of it all. Audrey loves stuff like that.

i have a hard time believing that miles thinks anything is sad. that boy is nothing but smiles.
i love that audrey wanted to hold it in her bare hands. that is definitely the H* coming out in her.
His little teeth are too cute!
yes, Miles was especially smiley yesterday - except that unfortunate experience with the too-hot french fry.
That's too bad about the fish! Neal can't get his money back? I can't believe Miles is already 8 months old!!!
alex and i LOVE parker's quotes. they make us laugh every time.
I can't wait to get our two smiley babies together!
PS... I think it was really RUDE of you to point out the GREEN grass and assorted other things you have! It is snowing here today! WAAAA! :-)
I'm sorry for your loss.
BTW- I do not think birds have bottom cracks.
parker says the cutest things. i'm glad you share them with us. audrey's hair is so pretty - and long! it's hard to believe ruby's will ever be long. :) she just has fuzz these days.
if you chance to meet a frown
do not let it stay
quickly look at miles' face
and that frown will go away!
okay maybe that was a stretch, but he seriously has the cutest grin!
