This Sunday, I'm grateful for:
- everything I learned at church today. Even though I was substituting in the childrens' class today, I was able to learn a lot about repentance and give some thought as to how the principle applies in my life.
- the part of the song, "There is a Green Hill Far Away" that goes like this: "Oh dearly, dearly has He loved, and we must love Him, too. And trust in His redeeming love and try His works to do." Just love that.
- Natalie and Jay, who watched ALL THREE of our kids this evening, in the midst of the crazy day they were having, so we could have a little "date." Okay, it was actually a memorial service for our nice old lady neighbor*, but still. We got to hold hands and talk to grown-ups.
- my parents, who are coming to see us! Just in time for t-ball, preschool open house, more t-ball, and a birthday party. We won't be bored.
- Organize the pantry. Again.
- Clean the car(s).
- Plant pretty flowers.
- Why are all of my "goals" always housework-related?
- Oh! I get to buy Parker a bike for his birthday. That will be fun.

the kids were awesome, as always. i'm just sad we couldn't tap the tops of creme brulee together as we had planned. darn broken leg! have fun with your parents and hug them for me!

I like your goals for the week idea...even if they are housework related.
"There is a Green Hill Far Away" is the first hymn I remember memorizing the words to. I've always loved it.
