Grateful Sunday

more elmo hugging

This Sunday, I'm grateful for:
  • Neal quitting his Saturday job yesterday. It was turning out to be a waste of his time and not worth the money anymore. And my kids have seen him for a total of about three hours since Wednesday, so it REALLY wasn't worth it to the rest of us either.
  • oven bags, which make turkey baking SO much easier.
  • Stella's safe arrival and Stephanie's ongoing recovery.
  • a week off from school! (And from the car!)
  • cranberry sauce and pumpkin pudding cake on Thursday.
  • my Mom's impulsive decision to buy me a trip to Arizona with her free Southwest ticket. I get to go BY MYSELF in January to see Stephanie and her family. Hooray!
he loves baseballs, too

What a precious picture of Miles with the baseball. Little boys are the best!

Dads are great... especially when you get to see them every once in a while!

I'm so happy you get to go visit your sister!! Just today I was thinking that I want to go somewhere by myself. (At this point a trip to Target would suffice!) I'm sure you'll enjoy every minute of your time in AZ.

Mile's photo is adorable. How wonderful to capture our babies before they disappear into some bigger person.
