Grateful Sunday

This Sunday I'm grateful that:
  • we got a new camera. Our old one was officially kaput. And we all know you can't be an accomplished blogger (or mother) if you have no camera. At least, that was my rationale when Neal got wind of the new camera's price tag.
  • we purchased Audrey's glasses where we did. We had a bad eyeglasses week. Neal's just up and popped off his face into two pieces at work one day and Miles completely mangled (destroyed) Audrey's while she was in the bath. Hers came with a five frame guarantee. Neal went to the same shop and they gave him a loaner pair(!) until his new (super hip) frames are ready. What a great shop. And ask me how much I love eyeglass frame shopping. A lot.
  • Miles only dropped the 2-pound hand weight on his foot yesterday, instead of the 5-pound one right next to it. Still, he has a little black toenail to show for it. Poor guy, as the kids would say.
  • I was able to keep my nerves to a minimum during yet another Sacrament meeting piano performance today. It was mostly because I was surrounded by a bunch of primary kids, who I knew were stealing the show anyway.

if that picture is any indication of what your new camera can do, then maybe i need one to. it is so precious.

Emmaline was very upset the first time she hurt her toe enough to make the nail go black- till she realized it was going to stay that color! She then loved having that "beautiful nail". Of course there was more drama when it eventually fell off.

Aack, the age where the baby has to be watched constantly... Sophie is just moving into it! But luckily they are so cute, no one minds broken glasses or broken toes! :-)

Congrats on the new camera... we love it... you will too!

hurrah for new cameras - can't wait to see what you create!
Ouch to Miles and to the broken glasses - no fun at all.
What a week!

I love the "loner" glasses idea... I've had to settle for the Lenscrafter 1 hour ones several times because I just can't wait for another pair!
