Grateful Sunday

Audrey and Miles running off into the woods on Friday. It was 80 degrees! We stayed outside all day.

This week has been quite busy, topped off with a very busy Sunday for us, so I am mostly grateful that today is over and that I can be in my pjs for the rest of the evening. Today, I'm grateful for:

  • a successful Great to Be Eight event this morning. My lovely counselor was so gracious to host it in  her home. (We have church until 5:30 pm now, so evening events are hard to pull off.) The speakers did a great job, the Spirit was strong, and it was so fun to see all the new baptismal candidates with their families.
  • the safety of my family. We heard that some family members in Amarillo were in a car accident today, due to a severe dust storm, but they are all safe and well. I'm grateful that they were watched over.
  • the example of our nephew, Morgan, who returned home from his mission this weekend. Congrats, Morgan, we are so proud!
  • my other blog and the sweet readers who wished me well as I have decided to quit blogging there. I don't think I'll ever shut down Flowerchain, it would be tragic to let this memory-keeping habit go. I do wish I were better at blogging here more frequently. Must work on that.
  • a visit from Stephanie and Mike tomorrow. I can't wait to have them here with us, even if it's only for 24 hours.
Something I am not grateful for:
Newt Gingrich and the SC voters. Blerg.

Seriously south Carolina. What the heck. Anyway, SO excited for tomorrow morning. A visit to your house is totally worth leaving here at 4:30 in the morning. See you soon!

I'm glad you're not quitting Flowerchain :)

I've been grouchy about SC all day and attritube those folks to my lack of sleep last night. What on earth are they thinking! Oh well.

How fun to have a sister visit! Have a lovely week.
