Audrey thinks . . .

. . . that clothes are SO over-rated. So she takes almost ALL of them off the minute she gets home from school. My kids have also started sleeping in only their underwear, forgoing all their adorable pajamas in favor of their skivvies. I mean, sure, it's 79 degrees in our house at night, but still. What is it with kids and nekidness anyway? I know it's not just my kids.
Or is it?

Hi! That makes me laugh...Syd is the same way. She's been sleeping in a t-shirt and undies. I hope it is just a phase! ; )

the following has nothing to do with this post, but audrey is cute :)

i was reading through some of your posts that i missed while missing blogging altogether and saw you say something about the golden rule of blogging and commenting:
"Comment on others blogs as you would like them to comment on yours." or something to that affect.

I just wanted to give that a big AMEN. that was something i felt very strongly about when i started blogging but didn't know how to express it i guess. so thank you (insert pic of me tipping my hat) for saying what i couldn't get out.

love you!

ps. (sorry to make this comment longer, but) gracie's hair is obviously curly and starting to get longer and it's never been cut in her life. it's usually super frizzy on the back and a little wavy on top or 'right out of the bath' super curly.

steph said you have a system with audrey. i'd like to know what you did at gracie's stage. any suggestions? thanks!

Mine's the same. Only a diaper, all of the time. Sometimes I think the neighbors are going to start to think I'm weird.

My kids are just the opposite, I guess. Our floor does look similar, but it's because they have changed clothes 6 times in one day. UGGHH... the laundry!

Kylee is only 18months and hates wearing clothes...and I'm sure its not nearly as hot here as it there...well maybe..its 101 today. I draw the line at her taking her diaper off tho

how's school going for audrey?

hey - I do that same thing! or rather, when I lived in the Texas heat, I would strip down to my Gs once the door was safely locked - SO hot down there, y'all!

I don't know if anyone has noticed, but most of the pictures of my boys when they are at home, they are just in their undies and shorts. And that's because I had them put shorts on for the picture. If my boys are inside (from the moment they enter the door - just like Audrey), they are in their undies. Don't you get frustrated with the clothes lying around on the floor? I do.

my boys have been sleeping in their underwear for a long time now-prob. since they started wearing underwear. thing 2 will start out in pj's but by the time he's asleep they are usually peeled off! now thing 3 has started wanting to sleep in her undies! crazy little girl. and it's hard for me because i LOVE pajamas! i have to control myself so i don't buy more than they can wear-especially since they don't usually wear any! thing 2 is prob. my worst. by the time he gets to the car after church on sunday he's half undressed! i turn around to back out and am constantly surprised by his lack of clothing!
