Just loving this song today. It's nothing new, just a nice Norah Jones ditty, but it's the kind of song I like to listen to when I'm alone in the car, since it never, ever happens. Either something like this or ABBA. Really loud. Oh, I forgot absolute and utter silence. Sometimes I listen to that, too.
What do you like to listen to when you're alone in the car?
I love anything I know the words to...but mostly, I love singing to musicals! For some reason I think I actually have a voice that belongs on Broadway...probably better it is left in the car!
wow les, according to my google reader you only posted this 14 minutes ago... you're becoming one of the hard ones to post a comment to first, ya know? (o: Lately, I'm liking Dave Matthews band... revived from the good 'ol days... really loud so you can hear all the instruments... i love his stuff...
well amen to the first two... nothing like singing some good musical theater in the car when you sound AWESOME & no one is watching. also love dave matthews - especially "#41". possibly one of the best songs ever. and one day I will have a car with a sweet BOSE system so I can hear everything. and leslie - don't choke or anything, but I listen to COUNTRY in the car. a lot! (just the radio, no current favorites...)
Seeing how I can't get WICKED out of my head when I'm not in the car, I can't wait to get to the car by myself just so I can sing along with it. But singing along isn't enough. It needs to be cranked, windows down, hair flying everywhere.
I'm also a fan of the whole silence thing. But I tend to think too much when it's too quiet.
yes, mindy, i forgot about the windows down thing. i prefer the sunroof. although when i'm alone in the car it's usually at about 10 pm and i'm going to kroger. really really wild life that i lead.
kristen: i have nothing against country music! i live in texas, for heaven's sake. i mean, i don't actually own any or listen to country radio, but i'm very open when it come to music. actually, i'd prefer country to dave matthews, to tell you the truth. but i still think very highly of you. plus, if you listen to this song, it's one of her most country-ish ones. (it's a cover of a song by some guy who can't sing to save his life.)
i like silence... however, i have gotten into listening to that acapella group insideout... they have some great primary song cds that my kids AND I enjoy too. other than that, i turn the talk radio up really loud to just drown the kids out.

when we were roommates I'm pretty sure you hated country! I'm glad you're coming around, you little texan!
