Last night, I dreamed that Neal and I were in Paris (sans les enfants) and I was showing him the sites. He's never been. I've had this dream probably three other times. We were on a boat on the Seine, and I remember saying in my dream, "Should we go see the Arc de Triomphe?" as we emerged from a Metro station, then "There's Notre Dame. Oh, they've turned off the lights. (huh?) And over there is Rue de Rivoli."I haven't been to Paris in 10 years (!), but oh, how I want to go back! Anyway, as one of Neal's favorite songs says, "Nice Dream." Instead I get to take Miles for his 4 month immunizations today. :(

a few days ago my friends from paris and i celebrated the year anniversary of us being back from study abroad. it was so sad. :( i miss it too. 10 years though...paris is someplace that everyone must visit multiple times in their lives if possible.
i can't believe jooj took that picture. it is so awesome. i want to go to paris, too.
an intensely serious ditto to everything said above. hasn't it been published in some medical journal that if one dreams a need (such as being in Paris or London, par example) multiple times, that it is in their best interest, medically speaking of course, that they fulfill it as soon as humanly possible?....sounds good, though doesn't it.
that picture looks much better in real life by the way...it looks quite odd on the computer.
