Well,
Parker's doing better tonight. Thank goodness. He had some more chest x-rays at the Children's Hospital, and it turns out he has fluid in his lungs and a bit around the outside of them, too. Apparently, it's not too uncommon, when you have pneumonia. He was in much better spirits and seemed to feel a whole lot better. The
big red power ranger toy may have helped, too. When I left the hospital at around 10 pm, his oxygen levels were staying higher with less oxygen from the tank. Hopefully tomorrow, they'll be able to take him off of it and see how he does for a few hours. We're hoping he'll be home by the afternoon.
Special thanks to Dr. Jay for returning to the hospital after a long day to assist in a very tender and appreciated priesthood blessing. Thank you, Jay. We're so glad to have friends like you and Natalie.
Here are some pictures from tonight. Parker and Audrey were very happy to see each other. They just laid on the bed and watched cartoons for a little while. I think it was good for Parker to be close to her, give him a sense of normalcy at the end of his very crazy day.

I'm off to have a bowl of cereal and try to get some rest. We'll see about that. I'm not crazy about this part-of-my-family-at-the-hospital idea. Luckily, Audrey is keeping me company in my bed. :)

And just for good measure, here is Miles, who, as of today's check-up, is ten whole pounds of pure
fluff.

i'm glad to hear he's feeling better!! but that picture makes me so sad! to see parkie with all those tubes and everything. :( he's so cute. give him big hugs from his aunt joojie.
glad to hear that everyone was alright - thank heavens for distractions like new toys, right? It was an honor for Jay to come help Neal with the blessing - you don't wish for those circumstances, but it sure helps the spirituality of the day. Oh and tell Audrey that Chelsea and I LOVE the Ariel necklace - Jay said it makes noises - very cool.
ten whole pounds of fluff?! he's getting to be so big!
Jayden has been talking about Miles a lot lately - on our way to school Monday, he has offically named SL Miles' hospital. That night as we were talking about Abraham at FHE, he noticed a picture in the book of Abraham's vision of Christ's birth - Jayden said, "Yook, Baby Jesus is yike Baby Miles!"
Anyway, hugs to all!
i am glad that parker is doing better. he is such a sweetheart! i hope he gets to go home soon. did you ever get a hold of mom and dad? i didn't.
by the way, i can totally see you in that picture of miles. i don't know what it is. something about his eyes.

What a relief that Parker is doing better. Give that guy a hug for all of us here!
So glad to hear that he's doing better... wish I could give them all a squeeze!
What a tough little guy. It's so sad to seem him hooked up to the machines. I'm glad they're helping, though. I hope he'll be better and able to come home soon. - and that you were able to get some rest.
I think Bentley is jealous of the big red ranger, but I don't think he'd like to go to the hospital to get it. :)
Sad picture will the tubes, etc. But he looks good and happy to have nice visitor! Love the Fluff!
I just wanted you to know our prayers are with you. I'm glad to hear that Parker is feeling better. I'm sure he'll be back to normal in no time. And I hav to add that Miles is a cute 10 lbs of fluff! My kids were over 10 lbs by two weeks! What would it be like to have smaller babies?!!!
