Ladies Who Lunch!

Well, folks, my friends don't listen to me. They threw me a lovely little baby shower today, much to my protesting, but ultimate gratefulness, of course.

Wait, Leslie, isn't this your third kid and second boy? Do you really need a baby shower?

No. I don't, but like I said, my friends didn't listen to me! To quote my friend Allison, who threw the shower, "This is just what people do in Texas!" Oh. I've been known to be publicly annoyed after receiving shower invites for my friends' second and third children. What could they possibly need?

Well, it was a great excuse to meet friends for lunch at a delicious little restaurant. And I was the beneficiary of this little opportunity, or should I say, Miles was the beneficiary.
