So I started teaching piano lessons to a boy here in the neighborhood. He's only five and I think it's going to be a long process, but he's learning a little bit! Audrey has really taken to the piano lately, too. She feels so proud that she can sit down and play "Mary Had a Little Lamb" and "Jingle Bells." Of course, we're trying to think of more songs you can play with only 5 notes (please suggest any if you can!). Anyway, here she is playing happily one evening.

How old is Audrey? It's so cool that she's interested and able to learn! Bentley is 4 and I want to teach him, but he has NO interest right now. I was thinking of waiting two more years before starting his lessons. Good luck with the other student. :)
she really does sound awesome, as I had a semi-privite concert last night - what about Happy Birthday and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star - would they work?
It is so wonderful that Audrey enjoys the piano. It was fun to see it again! It makes the move so worthwhile because she is learning

More than 5 keys- but how about chopsticks? (I still can't play that one!)
