Audrey was in the Intermediate School Spelling Bee last week. Her school is just fifth and sixth graders, and she won third place! We are so proud of our Audrey, she is an amazing natural speller! Here are the words she was given to spell:

She got to the 19th Round, and at one point she was spelling the "championship word!" Spelling Bee rules are pretty crazy, you kind of have to be there! We were proud of her, she beat out all but one of the sixth graders, and her friend, Carson, who took second place. Yay! Can't wait for next year!

she's so smart! there are some tricky words in that list. that second e in erroneous totally would have lost it for me.
mabel was chosen to be in our spelling bee next week. she's excited!
Good for her! She is one smart girl and we are all so proud of her. Next year she will win I know!!!!!
way to goo, audrey! i can't imagine the pressure. jayden was selected from the 3rd grade with one other participant but had a bad case of 1st time bee jitters and didn't go very far.
So exciting isn't it! Way to go Audrey!!
