More Fun Every Year

I don't love Halloween, but this is getting to be pretty fun. I had a great time yesterday afternoon, getting the kids ready for a fun party at a friend's house.

Cleopatra, Cave Baby, and Mummy.
(I only made Miles' costume and Audrey's headpiece. Lots of people asked at the party. I am not that talented.)

Doesn't she look awesome?? I totally want to be Cleopatra now, if I ever dress up.

The coordinating ancient Egyptian mummy, complete with "mouth cracks" (Parker's request) and Spiderman flip-flops.

The cutest neanderthal I've ever seen. And the squishiest.

Have Fun Tonight!

Halloween isn't as fun w/out the kids.. atleast for me. I used to hate it. Now my husband and I are both in to the trick-or-treating with our daughter and passing out the treats and decorating the house. It's all fun when it causes some little one you love to be delighted.

Your little trick-or-treaters look fabulous.

Too, too precious. How does a kid know about "mouth cracks". Brilliant. Thanks for sharing.

Too cute. Audrey looks SO different without her trademark hair. Love the costumes. Where did you find the mummy and Cleopatra costumes? I always spend an eternity finding the costumes that the peas request.

Great job on the costumes! They look so cute.

I happen to LOVE Halloween... but I seem to be in the minority.

I think can be a fun creative holiday.

i love how when kids are old enough to "get" halloween, they choose costumes based on what they really want to be - case in point, your kids - these costumes are SO them.
wish we were there to trick-or-treat with you guys!
