Here's one of them: The GR* TaT2 Maker
No, I'm not making this up, folks. Here's the lowdown:"Open up your very own pretend play tattoo parlor. This easy-to-use tattoo maker kit includes an electronic tattoo pen and funky stencils. Using soft, safe pulsating action, the tattoo pen creates realistic, washable designs with dramatic effects."
Are you kidding me? Tattoo artists, although I am sure they are nice (I watch Miami Ink now and again, too), are not people that I want my children emulating.
Something else I will never buy:
The Spongebob Squarepants TVNot only do I not allow my children to watch SpongeBob SquarePants (much to their friends' confusion), we own a total of ONE television in our house. It's just a little bigger than this one, and is usually behind the cabinet doors. I am completely against kids having their own televisions. These things alone have contributed negatively to our society and have compromised the integrity of American families. Ok, I'm getting down now.
Bratz Diamond Torso Cloe
With this "toy," you try to make Cloe look like the biggest hoochie you can! Now that's some real fun, girls.
Um, NO. And no to any other "Bratz" items. Don't get me started. And yes, that's her belly showing. To see some toys I would buy for my children, click here.

Amen. Amen. Amen.
One can only hope someone will come out with a body piercing salon... ;)
yes, my list of things I hate also includes Sponge Bob and Bratz - seriously the worst influence and SO UGLY, too. love your choices for toys you would buy, too. the stuffed animals from BlabLa Kids are SOOO cute and I want one for Chelsea more than I can say - a blog entry to follow -
Is that last picture the new "Teenage Pregnancy Bratz" doll? She looks pregnant to me. I can't stand Bratz, and I don't even have to worry about them yet.
Goodness what is happening to the toy industry? Is is all about money? It use to be baby dolls and accessories and trucks and bicycles and roller skates. Guess I am still of the old school. Glad you are a sensible mom. There are moms that would allow this junk.
Love you much

Totally with you on this one.
Luckily my boys don't get into these toys-- they are all sports, trucks, puzzles... you know, the good stuff!
I too HATE Bratz dolls! I'm so glad you said something. Seriously, what kind of message are parents sending to little girls when toys like that are generally accepted? So sad.
wow, i looked at the pictures before i read your text and i was thinking "man, and natalie said leslie had such good taste..." ha! i thought you were actually purchasing that stuff. phew, what a relief.
Okay... so I'm not the only one who despises Bratz... just the name alone is appalling, let alone their look... the saddest thing of all is that people buy those for their kids.
great minds think alike! i posted about the same thing today. . . well sort of. . .
