Audrey wanted Miles to lay in bed with her and her "guys" . . .
And Miles has been working on his arm exercises.
Everything is going well; I'm still a bit slow and under the weather with a nasty cough (who knows where that came from) and a bit of mastitis (if you don't know what that is, don't ask), but I'm slowly on the mend. Thankfully my mom is here and taking excellent care of everyone.
Oh, and Audrey went to kindergarten today. Neal is able to take her on his way to work; he said she had absolutely no problem being left there, which is of no surprise to us. Like my mom said, if any five-year-old can handle going to school for seven hours, five days a week, it's Audrey. Here she is all ready to go this morning.

i love how paker has his hand around miles in that first picture. it is so sweet! also, audrey looks very excited for her first day. mom is right, if anyone can handle it, it is audrey.
I love that first picture. It looked like at first Miles had his little tongue sticking out sideways, but I think it's just his lip. He looks good enough to eat! Can I come hold him when Hannah is at school one T,W,orTh ?... when your family goes home and you need someone to hold him so you can take a nap (= Ohhh... isn't life fun!
can't wait to see everyone and hear about things "first hand". when we walk past SLH on our way to school, Jayden comments "that is the place Miss Leslie got her new baby Miles" - so glad we can live this with you guys! love to all!

I hope you are feeling better now! A C-section and a new baby is already a lot to deal with. You didn't need a cough and mastitis!! Audrey looks so cute on her first day of school. I'm sure she's loving it! Parker looks so grown up next to Miles! It's strange to not think of his as the "baby" any more.
