Philmont

We got to chat with Parker this morning from a mountaintop at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. He is trekking 60 miles over 12 days with the best buddies and the most selfless dads around. They left last Friday and get home next Thursday. We love and miss him!

Girls Camp!

We've been missing Audrey as she has been off at Girls Camp since Monday. Parker leaves for Philmont tomorrow, so they won't see each other for three weeks!

Seminary Ends!

These two have achieved hero status in my book. They were Audrey's early morning seminary teachers this year. Audrey was in the 6:00 am class at the Marshall Ridge Clubhouse this year, and her teachers, Sister Darcy Whatcott and Brother Ben Judd, are serious troopers.

Goodbye, Florence Elementary School!

This whole year has been a slow goodbye to the sweet neighborhood school that at least one of our kids has attended for the last nine years! It's so hard for this mama to saw farewell! We have been treated with such love and have had so much fun here since 2008. This morning, Miles got to participate in the Maypole Dance at Mayfest. Our school has traditions that go way back. One of my favorite things about it!

Miles and Simon

Our three Florence grads!

I took Miles lunch for the last time at Florence on June 1! All three of my kids have spent hours in this cafeteria! Time to move on! Here he is on his first day of kindergarten. (I went and helped with lunch!)

Audrey had her Spring piano recital.

We had some beautiful nights at the baseball fields. Parker played on the Braves and Miles on the Rangers.

Parker learned to shave.

Miles received his Arrow of Light award at Cub Scouts.

Parker played a gig with his band from Creative Soul.

These guys escaped from something.

Miles playing with kids from scouts.

Parker had a rank advancement.

Neal and Andy had tank conferences.

Parker started teaching guitar lessons.

Pretty sunset walks.

Parker Finishes Eighth Grade

Parker finished off three years at EA Young Academy this month! We had a great experience there, but he is headed to the public high school in the fall.
