Here is our requisite return-from-vacation-travelogue-blog-post. Not that I have to do it, but my parents really like to see lots of their grandkids in one picture, so here ya go.
We spent the week at Stephanie and Mike's adorable and completely re-done house in Arizona. They've done such a wonderful job, and if you've kept up with Stephanie's blog, you've seen some of the amazing before and after pictures. If you don't know Stephanie and Mike, they are perhaps the cutest couple ever. They were a match made in heaven (or at BYU Fall Fling), and are really great people and awesome parents. Of course I knew that my sister was wonderful, but the more I get to know Mike, the more I appreciate what a good person he is and what a good choice my sister made. I just love the C* family. Can you tell I miss them? Even though Stephanie was feeling progressively yuckier as each day passed, we were able to see the sights of their town, and a few towns nearby (all part of their attempt to convince us that we need to live in Arizona, too), do a little antique shopping, a little restaurant-hopping, some Wii-playing, some being wowed by Uncle Mike's magic tricks, and a little chick-flick viewing. There were a few good arguments among the children (mostly Audrey's fault, sorry Oliver), a few owies (Parker), some good hugs, and a whole lot of fun.
I had to snap a picture at Pei Wei because this was the quietest moment of the whole week. Never underestimate the power of Chinese food and kid chopsticks. Thanks Steph and Mike for a fabulous week away! Can't wait to see you in June!

it looks like great fun--i especially love the chopsticks photo. it makes me excited for the day when jayden and chelsea can visit and play with their favorite cousins!
that looks like so much fun. ah, i miss ya'all. hawaii will be amazing.
what a fun visit. I seriously think AZ would be a great place to live. I don't mind the dry heat as much as the humid heat, having grown up in the central valley of CA. If we ever come to scope it out, and you still live in AZ, Steph, you could give us some pointers? Although getting these TX boys out of TX might be hard (at least mine... anyway!)
Looks like fun! Love that photo of Miles in the sink.
You are truly a pro Leslie. Chopsticks--who knew? Your kids and you are as adorable as ever and it's so great to hear about your trip. So nice to have and visit sisters. Great pictures.
We're jealous you all got to play together! Can't wait to hug your kids in June!
I thought the same thing as Mehrsa - look at your cute kids and cousins using the kid chopsticks!
thanks for all of the pix from the grandparents. we saw them before but our system wasn't letting us comment. glad the cousins could get together - mabel looks so cute holding miles. she will be a great big sister like audrey! mom
