We had some friends over for dinner last night, and their 4-year-old son and Parker apparently got into a little tiff in the other room. Parker ended up crying, and the other boy had a little discipline from his daddy. Later, the dad told us that he overheard Audrey saying to the boy:

"I don't ever want to see you treating my little brother like that again!"

It's so endearing the way she has his back all the time.

This morning, I was putting on my makeup, trying to make the most of my 30-week-pregnant self, when Parker came in asking me to help him put on his Superman costume. I said, "Oh, Parker, we're going to put real clothes on and go to the bank today," to which he replied,

"Please, Mommy, I just want to save the day for a minute!"

How could I say no to that?
